I left steam on for an hour hoping it would automatically download any patches, i came back and i DID NOT try to run Amnesia. Right, my game just started working again. Just try and start the game over and over mayb e hourly, it will eventualy start working again.
(Steam loading box pops up for 1 second then dissapiers) Ill post in a moment what re-installing does. I last played it last night so in 18 hours something DEFFINATLY changed/was added. There must have been some sort of content update or install or maybe a bugfix that cause mass user bugs. There was also a AAMFP.exe file posted by a user on frictional games forum but it did not work for me any many others.
I have uninstalled it and restarted windows and steam, now in the process of re-installing it will let you know if it works. Its worked for a few people so far, to see what the entire conversatiuon was click here I figured out a possible fix for many people.
